THE BRIEF
Up wanted to launch a new feature, MayBuy, on their app. This feature helped combat ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ culture by letting you set up savings for individual items – making sure you only buy things you actually want with money you actually have. 

THE IDEA 
The MayBuy Exchange as it was called, allowed customers to bring in their regretful impulse purchase, place it on our highly sophisticated ‘Anti-Impulse Machine’ (Was it AI? Was it just a random number generator with lots of flashing lights? We’ll let you decide) and, after a quick analysis, be given a monetary value of between $10-$500 for their item, deposited directly into their Up account – which could be set up on site.
