THE BRIEF
Coopers wanted to do their biggest brand campaign in 160 years. Focussing on their Original Pale Ale, the campaign needed to educate drinkers about the iconic ‘Coopers roll’ – that gentle roll you give a Coopers to stir up the sediment before cracking it open.
THE IDEA
For the idea we needed two things, a tagline that helped convey as much information as possible – a line that would almost become a mantra for our drinkers – and a video that would visually cut through all the noise of other online media. Our solution, ‘Roll the Beer. Unlock the Flavour.’ a deliberately matter-of-fact line to complement our outlandish video.
The video itself saw Sunny – our friendly protagonist – rolling along the street seeing rolling Coopers cans in the day-to-day, culminating in a barrel-rolling jumbo jet in the sky (with accompanied screams of delight…or panic).
